SaffyBournemouth & District

WANTED: a very special cat person who is kind, patient and understanding. Do you have the time and dedication to help this beautiful young cat on to a wonderful future as your companion?

Saffy is a very shy cat who startles easily at loud noises and hides herself away when she needs to feel safe. It takes a long time for her to get to know new people though once she trusts you things are fine, though Saffy retains her wariness (which she assures us is one of her feline rights).

It has taken a lot of work and a very long time for her experienced foster Mum to gain Saffy's trust. They now enjoy lap cuddles, Saffy's head rubs and being stroked, and cat treat time together – as you can see from their photos.

Saffy is used to having outdoor access so hopes her new place will have a garden where she can enjoy some Spring and Summer sunshine. She joined Cats Protection following the death of her previous elderly owner where she lived with her sister cat.

Saffy is around two years old and is fit and healthy. She would probably find it easier to settle in a new home where there is only one or two adults and no children, thank you. Once relocated its likely that Saffy's confidence will take several backwards steps as she learns all about her new home and surroundings.

If you think you are the one for Saffy, please contact us to be put in touch with her fosterer. Thank you.

*** Potential visitors please note: Saffy hides from new people, and will hiss as a reminder for you to keep your distance if you get too close. ***
